Metrics reference

Every number on the card, what it means and where it comes from. All GitHub data is public; a token only raises rate limits and adds all-time accuracy.

How data is collected

SourceUsed for
GitHub RESTName, avatar, public repositories, total stars, followers.
GitHub GraphQL (needs token)All-time contributions, streaks, reviews, repositories contributed to, forks, discussions.
Public fallback (no token)Contributions from a public calendar API; PRs/issues from the GitHub search API.

Contributions, streaks and trophies are aggregated across all years, not just the last one.

Freshness: responses are cached for 30 minutes (production) / 5 minutes (development), and GitHub's image proxy caches the rendered card too — so a card is at most ~30 minutes stale.

Cards

GitHub Activity

MetricWhat it counts
ContributionsTotal contributions (commits, PRs, issues, reviews) over your whole history.
PRs OpenedPull requests you opened.
Issues OpenedIssues you opened.

These come from GitHub's contribution graph, so they reflect repos GitHub counts as your contributions.

Streak Stats

MetricWhat it counts
CurrentConsecutive days with at least one contribution, ending today (or yesterday if today is empty).
LongestLongest run of consecutive contribution days in your history.
TotalNumber of days with at least one contribution (active days).

Repository Stats

MetricWhat it counts
RepositoriesYour public repositories.
StarsTotal stars summed across your public repositories.
FollowersYour followers.

When a valid LeetCode profile is shown, this card is replaced by LeetCode stats.

Contribution Activity

Daily contributions for the last 30 days. Rendered as bars (Classic), a smoothed area line (Modern) or a heat strip (Grid) depending on the card style.

Top Languages

The primary language of each public repository, counted per repo and topped to 5. The percentage is the share of counted repos — it is not a code-volume breakdown (unlike GitHub's own language bar).

Achievement trophies

Ten badges. Each gets a letter tier (see below) based on its value.

BadgeMetricWhat it counts
CommitsTotal contributionsAll contributions over your whole history.
PRsPull requestsPull requests you opened.
ReviewsPull-request reviewsReviews you submitted on pull requests.
IssuesIssuesIssues you opened.
ReposRepositoriesYour public repositories.
StarsStarsTotal stars across your public repositories.
FollowersFollowersYour followers.
ImpactOpen-source impactNumber of repositories you contributed to.
ForkedRepositories forkedRepositories you forked.
DiscussionsDiscussionsDiscussions you started.

Reviews, Impact, Forked and Discussions need a GitHub token; without one they show 0.

Trophy tiers

S Legendary · A Epic · B Rare · C Uncommon · D Common. A badge reaches a tier when its value is at least the threshold.

Competitive programming

Optional. The row appears only when at least two platforms return data — a single handle is ignored rather than leaving a half-empty row.
